Enjoy a quick safari or add this on to another safari experience in East Africa… personal luxury on the banks of the life-giving Uwaso Nyiro river in Samburu National Reserve, one of the world’s last areas of true wilderness as well as the famed Maasai Mara, one of the world’s most talked-about wildlife destinations.

Day One: Samburu Intrepids
You will be met on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta airport by our representative and transfer to Wilson airport for your flight to Samburu.
Check in. Please be informed that only small soft sided bags are allowed on the aircraft not weighing more than 33 pounds per person.

On arrival at Buffalo Springs airstrip,you will be met by the Intrepids team and transferred to our beautiful Camp on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. Enjoy lunch at the Camp. This afternoon you will be taken on your first game drive-and an opportunity to see the famous ‘northern species’of Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and graceful long-necked antelope, as well as Samburu’s famous elephant herds.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Samburu Intrepids
After tea or coffee in your tent, we highly recommend an early morning game drive- it is normally the best time to see the big cats hunting.
Return to the Camp for breakfast and lunch at the Camp.
A second afternoon/evening game drive will follow afternoon tea. Dinner and overnight at Camp.

Day 3: Mara Intrepids
An early morning game drive will be followed by breakfast back at the Camp.
Transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara.

Arrive at our Olkiombo airstrip and transfer to Mara Intrepids. An afternoon game drive will deliver you into the heart of the famous reserve, where you’ll be witness to one of the oldest and wildest spectacles known to mankind. As well as tens of thousand of antelope and plains game, there are good chances of seeing all the ‘Big Five’:elephant,rhino,buffalo.lion and leopard.
Return to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Mara Intrepids
After tea or coffee on your veranda, we will take you on an early morning game drive over the Mara’s famous ‘spotted plains’. This is the best time to see the Big Cats before they seek cover from the day’s heat. Return to the camp for breakfast. Lunch at the Camp. Afternoon enjoy another game drive.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

Day 5: Transfer back to Nairobi
Early morning game viewing. Return to the Camp for breakfast.
Afternon transfer to Olkiombo airstrip for your flight to Wilson airport in Nairobi.
